The Adhola Simbwori Football Club, based in Tororo District, eastern Uganda, began its journey on 15th September 2023. The club was founded by five dedicated players: Kelvin Moses Wekesa, Munialo Peter, Adhola Eric Mich, Otimong Abraham, Philemon Kadogo and Shadat Muhammed. Training officially started on 23rd September 2023, and recruitment grew gradually, driven by a focus on discipline and hard work.
Despite early criticism and challenges, the team persevered, growing stronger with time. Starting with zero fan base, the players themselves were their first supporters. Over time, Adhola Simbwori FC’s style of play began to attract voluntary fans, and the number of supporters has steadily grown. We continue to welcome more fans as we build the club on a foundation of resilience and passion for the sport.
Beyond football, Adhola Simbwori FC has inspired many young people, offering guidance and counseling on the challenges of the world we live in. Our approach goes beyond the game—by promoting positive values and life skills, we help keep our players away from illicit behaviors. Parents have credited the team's influence and the kind of training we offer for the improved behavior of their children. Through football and life discussions, we strive to shape well-rounded individuals who succeed both on and off the pitch.
